SKI UTAH
(Salt Lake City, Utah)
Seasonal (Winter)

Ski Utah operates a unique program for advanced skiers that offers a guided day of skiing through five different ski areas. The program, licensed by the U.S. Forest Service, provides a day of skiing at the
Park City, Brighten, Alta, Snowbird, and Solitude ski areas. Skiers travel with guides via back country routes connecting the five ski areas. The unique routes used by Ski Utah cover some of the most spectacular unspoiled scenery in the entire Wasatch Mountain range.

SPECIFICS: Ski Utah hires seven back country ski guides each season.   Available positions include lead guide and interconnect guides. All guides must be exceptional skiers and have both emergency medical technician (EMT) training and experience in avalanche control and rescue.

INSIDER TIPS: Applicants must be in excellent health. Advanced skiing ability is, of course, an essential job prerequisite. These jobs are in extremely high demand and are only for the most highly trained and skilled skiers.

PERKS: The primary perk is the ability to ski at five of Utah's finest ski areas plus access to spectacular and rarely visited back country terrain.
