This exclusive mountain lodge is nestled on the shores of Jackson Lake in the heart of
Grand Teton National Park between Yellowstone and Jackson. Signal Mountain Lodge operates
a variety of lodging
facilities, stores, marinas, and restaurants.
SPECIFICS: Signal Mountain hires 130 seasonal employees annually. The
lodge employs marina workers, office staff, waitstaff, cooks, gift shop clerks, lodging
staff, maintenance workers, buspersons, and
dishwashers. Pay varies but many positions are eligible for end-of-season bonuses.
Applicants without
prior experience in the hospitality industry are encouraged to apply for positions as
lodging help, buspersons, and dishwashers.
INSIDER TIPS: Management seeks employees who can be available from May
through September. The later an applicant is willing to stay, the better his or her
chances of being hired. Most hiring decisions are made from January through March.
Applications should list easy to reach references.
PERKS: Housing is available to employees at a reasonable rate. The staff
is welcome to use the resort's marina and recreation facilities. The lodge organizes
numerous employee activities including sporting events and employee whitewater rafting
trips.
