Our Expectations
At Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort, we
strive to exceed our guests' expectations. We realize that our success depends on the
actions and attitudes of our employees and are committed to hiring the best workforce
available. While previous experience is preferred in
some positions, all require a friendly, outgoing, reliable person with a desire to provide
positive, courteous service to our guests. Service, conduct and appearance standards have
been established to ensure a consistent company image. These standards include:
Appearance: Briefly, hair must be neat, clean and conservatively styled and trimmed. It must be worn off the face and above the eyebrows. Men’s hair must be shorter than the collar at the back, no longer than the middle of the ear on the sides and cannot be restrained to meet these standards. Meadows employees are closely shaven, no beards are allowed, neatly trimmed mustaches are acceptable.
Drug/Alcohol Testing: Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort is committed to providing a safe, healthy and productive work environment free from the effects of substance abuse. Once offered a position, applicants are subject to drug testing to determine the use of illicit drugs.
