Lakota River Guides/Twin Lakes Expeditions specializes in whitewater trips down the Eagle, Colorado and Arkansas rivers.  Mountain hiking and climbing expeditions are also offered.

SPECIFICS:  Lakota hires approximately eight new river guides and two new mountain guides each year to fill its 30 seasonal positions.  Summer staff should be available to start work in earlyMay to help set up for the season.   Applications are accepted for river guides, kitchen help, mountain guides, and retail sales personnel.  For applicants without river experience, the company offers a whitewater guide school.  The two week school costs approximately $250 (subject to change).  Management reports offering jobs to approximately 50% of the course graduates.
