Cruise Ship Excursions Inc. is the major shore excursion agent and tour provider to most major cruise ships calling in St. Thomas, one of the Caribbean's busiest cruise ship ports.  The company operates a wide array of tours including scenic island excursions, helicopter tours, party boat trips, horseback riding, mountain biking, SCUBA and snorkeling tours, and golf outings.  "We pride ourselves in our professionalism and handling of tour guests who come to our islands by cruise ship. Cruise ship guests are here only for one day and it is up to us to ensure their visit is a memorable experience and that they'll come back to America's Paradise."

SPECIFICS:   Cruise Ship Excursions Inc. is actively looking for four to six seasonal winter employees to join the company for the peak tourism season.  Ideal employees must be available from October 1 through May 1.  Year round positions may be available for those whose seasonal performance impresses the company and who are interested in professing into a management position.  The Company is currently recruiting Ship/Administrative Tour Dispatchers who are responsible for coordinating excursion departures from the cruise ship dock, assisting with the planning, scheduling and supervision of tours, and other varied job duties.  Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:

1.     Have legal documentation to work in the United States (we are a U.S. territory!)

2.     Have your own vehicle or be willing to buy or rent one upon arrive in St. Thomas.

3.     Commit to our company for the "high season" -  Sept/Oct to the end of April or May.

4.     Be prepared to sign a Job Contract and "non-competition/non-disclosure" agreement.

5.    Willingly work all holidays and weekends when required by the volume of cruise ships in port.

6.     Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm in a tropical climate, since much of your work will be outside on the cruise ship dock.

7.     Run errands to the post office, supplier stores, and other places between tour dispatches.

8.     Excellent communication and organization skills.

9.     Be a reliable "team player" who is willing to "jump in at the last moment" when required.

10.    Assist in the scheduling of tours.

11.    Assist with misc. office duties including phones, photocopying and filing.
