YMCA of the Rockies
Information for International Applicants

Thank you for your interest in working at the YMCA of the Rockies.  We have two centers, Snow Mountain Ranch and Estes Park Center, and each sponsors a different program for international employees.  Both centers are located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains and offer year-round family vacation and conference meeting facilities.

We want to explain the two programs we offer so you can determine whether you qualify to apply to work for us.  If you do not qualify for these programs we cannot consider you for employment.  If you feel you do qualify for one of our programs we ask that you correspond directly with that center.  In all cases you must understand and speak English fluently.

If you are a participant of a program that will sponsor your work permit (e.g. WorkExperience, CIEE, InterExchange) then you can disregard the following information.  Participants in these programs must simply follow the appropriate application process for the program that they are involved in.  Snow Mountain Ranch and Estes Park Center both accept applications or resumes from these programs.

1. Hotel and Resort Operations Training Program at Snow Mountain Ranch

You must be currently pursuing training in a YMCA related career or pursuing a career in the hospitality industry to be eligible for this program.  Such career pursuits may include: Hotel/Motel Industry Operations, Food Service, Hospitality, or Tourism.  The program lasts for either 12 or 18 months and all programs start on November 30th.  September 1st is the deadline for applications.  A special application must be completed for this program.  Please do not use the online application.  Applications are normally available in May each year.
